Viet Knives
The blacksmith's creating those amazing pieces is Viết, and he works with his wife Luyến. He has been a blacksmith for 15 years, and she has worked with him in the forge for the last 12 years.
The forge is located in a small village about 20ks outside of Hanoi. All blades are specially cured on house as the handles are maxes from traditional timber from the area.
Everything is completely made by hand by both of them and passion is mixed with the business. Also all materials are hand-selected for the highest quality in the final process.
The highlight for those knives are the copper layers in their knives creating amazing Damascus Sanmai and CuMai effects.
