Another of the well - known companies that originated in the land recognized as the center of forging “Seki City, Japan”, this area is known because they brought a lot of recognition and various knives to Japan, in fact here is 800 years of history of forging. Kanetsune Seki is a personal brand of Kitasho Co. Ltd., they have been known to trade in the knife industry since 1930. This company was once also known as Kitamura Shoten before being established as the Kitasho Co. Ltd., in 1964. They sell various types of knives made by the people of Seki City.
